The hanging Munchkin – The Wizard of Oz (1939)

This classic family entertainer was an instant hit in the ‘30s. The movie had an extensive cast, heartbreaking scores, memorable songs, and excellent attention to detail in production design. But one of the most paused scenes of the movie is what appears to be a dark hollow of the tree that has an eerie resemblance to one of the singing midgets, the Munchkin.
