Season one of Feel Good, produced by Ben Farrell, received a positive response from critics and got Martin Mae a BAFTA nomination for their flawless performance. The series, which is Martin's semi-autobiographical comedy-drama, is a fresh and witty take on a blossoming romance between two young women, Mae, played by Martin, and George, played by Charlotte Ritchie. The plot focuses on Martin, a standup comedian and recovering addict, as she navigates a complicated relationship with her formerly heterosexual girlfriend while struggling with the challenges of sobriety. Spoiler alert: the first season ended on a cliffhanger as Martin went down a destructive path, relapsing in her addiction to illicit substances. The new season will focus on her ongoing struggle with accepting her past and George’s experimentation with her current relationship. Several members of the supporting cast, including Philip Burgers, Lisa Kudrow, and Adrian Lukis, will reprise their roles in season two. The first episode is all set to premiere on 4th June.
